We proudly offer a 20-Year Limited Adhesion Warranty on qualifying residential installations because we believe that proper preparation and premium materials produce results that last.

20-Year Limited Adhesion Warranty

Saguaro Surface Coatings warrants that your professionally installed coating system will remain bonded to properly prepared concrete and will not delaminate, peel, or lose adhesion due to defects in workmanship or installation for a period of twenty (20) years from the original installation date.

If the coating experiences adhesion failure caused solely by our workmanship or installation process during the warranty period, Saguaro Surface Coatings will, at our discretion:

• Repair the affected area at no cost to the customer, or
• Recoat the affected section using comparable materials.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and original installation location and is non-transferable.

What Is Covered

This warranty specifically covers:

• Loss of adhesion between the coating system and properly prepared concrete.
• Peeling caused by installation defects.
• Delamination resulting from improper surface preparation performed by Saguaro Surface Coatings.
• Bond failure resulting from defective application techniques.
• “Yellowing” from UV exposure *polyaspartic coatings only*

What Is NOT Covered

Like every professional concrete coating manufacturer, there are conditions outside our control that are not covered under this warranty.

This warranty does not cover:

Concrete Movement

• Concrete cracking
• Settlement
• Heaving
• Slab movement
• Expansion or contraction
• Structural shifting
• Control joint movement

Concrete naturally moves over time, and coatings cannot prevent or stop this process.

Physical Damage

• Dropped tools
• Dragging heavy equipment
• Vehicle accidents
• Tire chains
• Metal tracks
• Jack stands without protective pads
• Scratches
• Gouges
• Chips
• Cuts
• Burns
• Impact damage

Abuse or Misuse

Damage caused by:

• Welding
• Grinding
• Cutting
• Commercial manufacturing
• Chemical spills left unattended
• Battery acid
• Harsh solvents
• Brake fluid
• Paint stripper
• Industrial chemicals

Moisture Issues

This warranty does not cover failures caused by:

• Hydrostatic pressure
• Moisture vapor transmission
• Groundwater intrusion
• Flooding
• Plumbing leaks
• Irrigation leaks
• Water intrusion beneath the slab

Existing Concrete Conditions

Saguaro Surface Coatings is not responsible for:

• Weak concrete
• Concrete deterioration
• Spalling
• Pop-outs
• Previous coatings that fail beneath our system
• Hidden contaminants
• Oil saturation deep within the slab
• Alkali-silica reaction
• Concrete curing defects
• Improper original concrete installation

Normal Wear

Normal wear is expected and not considered a warranty claim.

Examples include:

• Surface scratches
• Loss of gloss
• Minor fading
• Tire marks
• Dirt accumulation
• Cosmetic wear from regular use

Acts Beyond Our Control

This warranty excludes damage caused by:

• Fire
• Flood
• Earthquakes
• Hail
• Tornadoes
• Hurricanes
• Lightning
• Extreme weather events
• Acts of God

Alterations

Warranty becomes void if:

• Another contractor modifies the coating.
• Additional coatings are applied.
• Repairs are performed without written approval from Saguaro Surface Coatings.

Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, customers should:

• Clean spills promptly.
• Use protective pads beneath heavy equipment and jack stands.
• Avoid dragging metal objects across the floor.
• Follow recommended cleaning procedures.
• Report any warranty concerns promptly after discovery.

Warranty Claim Process

If you believe your coating has experienced a warrantable adhesion failure:

1. Notify Saguaro Surface Coatings in writing within 30 days of discovering the issue.
2. Provide photographs and a description of the affected area.
3. Allow Saguaro Surface Coatings reasonable access to inspect the installation before any repairs are attempted.

Failure to allow inspection prior to repair may void warranty coverage.

Limitation of Liability

This warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the affected coating system at the discretion of Saguaro Surface Coatings.

Saguaro Surface Coatings shall not be liable for:

• Loss of use
• Loss of income
• Property damage
• Personal injury
• Consequential damages
• Incidental damages
• Costs associated with moving personal property, cabinetry, appliances, or vehicles.

This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other express or implied warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by Arizona law.
